Ashie new and improved!

Check out Ashie's new doo, we took her to get her hair cut shorter and didn't think it would come out this short! She looks so much older now, like 5 or 6 even. so much older. The new and improved Ashie comes with special sleep-fighting abilities including the power to stay up until after Mom and Dad are asleep. She even has the uncanny ability to make you think she in sincerely upset and her life is going to end when she doesn't get her wat. Tricky this new one is, very tricky.

Putting the ooped in Pooped

She doesn't do this often but when she does, we all take notice. She stopped.

Baseball practice

Grandpa doing the schooling or getting schooled? Ashie is going to be a great pickle player in a few years, watch for her on the Pickle Championships on ESPN (no, not really).

Kenzie doesn't really like to drive...

...she would rather just pause and play the music! She hates driving Ashie's car but loves playing the music from it's "tape deck". The whole push-this-with-your-foot-to-go-fast concept just kind of scares her for now. The last thing we need is something else to chase her around in.

Ashie set to go pro

I think I've decied what Ashlynn is going to be when she grows up (because that's how it works doesn't it ;), first female MLB all-star. These are some pics of the playing around we did at Nana's and GrandPa's on father's day. It was such a nice day, hard to not spend it outside. Trying something new, here's a movie (avi) of Ashie knocking one out of the park

Cheers!

For the reunion, Cortney and her brother and sisters stayed up making shirts for their family (everyone was supposed to wear nametags). They came out pretty good and everyone dugem.

When you get thirsty, you get thirsty.

Playing with the big kids.

Cam trying to keep his head up.

Ashie in front of a large pond at the campground.

Grandpa Lyle and Grandma Donna threw a family reunion last weekend for that side of the family. Everyone had a great time despite the rainy weather. It rained on and off pretty much the whole time we were there and then began to clear up as we left (of course!). We all stayed inside, ate and played games. Good times.

Cort did pretty good at the nickel slots, her she is at her first lucky machine of the day, she later went on to win 200 quaters...and then she graciously donated them back to the casino.

The day after my Birthday, June 17th (Abbeys birthday) we went up to cripple creek. We had a good time playing the slots (and I the table games). We won some and we lost some and overall we were amazed at how much time went by so quickly

boo!

There are the reason we went to Denny's in the first place, for the Madagascar masks!

We went out to Denny's last night and it wasn't all that great. Reminded us why we don't go there in the first place. Here's Cameron showing how he's almost ready to eat at the table.

Here's Ashie throwing a fit but somehow finding the courage to smile for the camera.

and one popsicle.

It's amazing what Kenzie can do with one piece of cake.

Cam having a ball at the party.

Stephanie's graduation party was last week and everyone had a good time. Congrats to Stephanie!

One of the first kittens we caught.

Sorry for the delay in posting! We're now down to one kitten! No, we haven't caught all of them yet. This is a pic of two of them in trap, enjoying the food we left out for them. The things was, I didn't set the trap sensative enough so it didn't spring. They all came and got something to eat and left when the food was gone. Ouch! After I set it properly though, we began to start catching them. We had a two night delay a few days ago because we caught raccons two nights in a row. They went nuts in the cage and made it a little messy so that threw us off track. But now we're back and focused as ever to end what I've dubbed as "Catgate".

Why won't you close trap!! Why!!! No I haven't caught them yet and it had begun to rain. We'll keep you all updated on our cat-napping in progress :)

Welcome to adventures in cat-trapping. We had a cat have some kittens under our shed in our backyard. The kittens are cute and all but having wild cats in my backyard isn't too appealing to me since our 3 stinkers love playing in the backyard. The mom is quite nasty (she hisses at people) but Megan was eventually able to pick her up. You better believe she was washing the heck out of her hands when she came inside.
